Design Philosophy

How do I design training? The same way I tend to my (more than fifty!) thriving plants, with patience, understanding my audience, and a genuine belief that people flourish when they have the right support.

  • I ask “what do we need people to be able to do?” before I ask what they need to be told.
  • I build practical learning that lets people try things, make decisions, and build confidence, without drowning them in information.
  • I like making complicated things feel less complicated, and making that process fun, enjoyable, and memorable along the way.

English Language Teaching & Academic Management

Moved into English language teaching, then became an Academic Manager, leading training initiatives for teachers and customer service staff alike, covering technical skills, soft skills, and adult learning principles, plus external learner-centred training for our own customers on product and platform support.

The Turning Point

Growing Into eLearning

I've always loved designing and delivering training across every format, ILT, VILT, job aids, microlearning, all of it. Wanting to keep growing that range, I pushed into eLearning too, and I've genuinely enjoyed the challenge ever since.
